50-Minute Reiki Session
We are all made of energy.
Reiki (pronounced rey-key) is a Japanese technique in which a practitioner guides a clients own energy to where it is needed within their own body by gently resting hands on or above the body’s energy points. Reiki helps restores a sense of balance, provides relaxation and stress reduction, and leaves clients feeling a deep sense of calm.
Reiki is used in hospitals to reduce patient stress prior to surgery, and to shorten recovery time afterward. It is also used in hospice care to comfort those with terminal illness.
During a Reiki session, clients remain fully clothed while comfortably laying on a warm massage table or seated in a chair. Clients are offered supportive accessories such as an eye pillow, blanket, neck support, and aromatherapy.
